Lush Celestial Cream- Verdict

While this cream was quite nice it didn't really help with the dry skin on my face. It did soothe the red patches though, which I am happy about. Went on ok, but didn't soak in and it left a greasy layer on my face.

So today I'm back to the drawing board.

I went into my local chemist about a different cream to try but they didn't have any. They do have a range I have decided to try though. The Lady gave me a few testers so I'll be using this in the next few days. It's a fortifying and soothing 24 hour Hydrating Care cream from the Vichy range. Apparently it's available on prescription in other countries but not here. I will have a go and report back :)

New face moisturiser trial.

I popped into Lush today and spoke to a very lovely and helpful young lady. I asked her about Dream Cream but she said it wasn't really to be used on your face. She recommended that I try a cream called Celestial and gave me a sample pot to try out.

This is what it says on the Lush website about it-

Heavenly moisturiser to make sensitive skin happy. Although it's true that some perfumes can irritate sensitive skin, like stronger spice oils, others are really good for preventing redness and reactions. Natural vanilla absolute is one of them. We use it in Celestial for its soothing effect and intoxicating scent. The dove orchid is used in Chinese herbalism to prevent inflammation; it is the only orchid with a delicate and delightful scent. Almond milk is also wonderful for calming the skin. So, there's really no need to use an odourless skin cream when you can happily wear Celestial.

I have used this cream for the first time tonight. The texture and smell is really nice but it hasn't really soaked into my skin. We shall see how my skin is in the morning *fingers crossed*
